A few weeks ago my sister rode Scottie. She hasn’t ridden in years and has lost a lot of her confidence. But Scottie is usually very well behaved so I thought it would be nice for her to have a go.
Unfortunately, there was a lot of ‘scary’ things going on at the yard that day and he was a bit on his toes when I was riding him before hand. However, he eventually settled and Scarlett got on.
She only walked and did a few short trots. But he was very good for her, despite being very tense. I think it was a mixture of everything what was going on and her nerves. He is a big pansy, so when he’s nervous he needs a confident rider he trusts, and my sister just wasn’t that!
