I am very pleased with my November E Dressage results. We finally beat our consistent score of 62% to score 65.43%! Where on previous attempts at Intro A we have scored mainly 6 and 6.5, this time we scored mostly 7s. We still got a few 6s, but two of these had the comment ‘not clear on video’, so these might have been higher if the video was better.
We still need more stretch, especially in the free walk, but we didn’t get many comments this month and most of them were to be more forward into the bridle. Once again Scottie was called an “attractive horse” in the final comments.
Our collective marks were:
Rhythm = 7 (14)
Suppleness = 6.5 (13)
Contact = 6 (12)
Rider’s Position = 7 (14)
Rider’s Results = 6.5 (13)
Over all it was a great improvement, even if we only improved by 3%. I do need to start thinking about what I’m going to film the tests with though as I do not want to keep getting marked down for the video not being clear enough.

It is Intro B this month and we might even try our first Prelim if things go well.
