No Burghley Coverage from EquiPepper

I love Badminton and Burghley horse trials! These huge events are potentially the two most challenging 4 stars in the world. (although it is quite possible I am being a bit biast!) They draw riders and viewers from all over the world and always have their fair share of drama! However, as the title of this post will suggest, this year I will not be bringing you my daily commentary. In fact, I don’t think I will even be watching it!

This weekend is a very busy weekend at work. I am out of the office tomorrow and Friday, meaning I can’t watch the dressage from the office. And let’s be honest, it’s a lot to catch up on when I get in at 7.30 in the evening! But I am also working alllll day Saturday at an event work is holding. So I will be missing the cross country too! But I will be catching up on this part Saturday night (if BBC sport put it on the Iplayer!) and I’m hoping of somehow finding a way to watch the show jumping on the Sunday. I haven’t actually looked at if and when it’s broadcast yet!

However, after the event is over, I am hoping to catch up on the highlights and the performance of any ex racehorses competing this year! So hopefully we will have a few (and hopefully successful) ex racehorses to talk about next week!

How many of you will be tuning in to watch it this weekend? And how many lucky people will be going to watch in person?
