Some of you may know that I won Β£30 worth of vouchers for Dressage Anywhere and entered 2 tests I filmed in November for E-Dressage before they closed. I have now had the results and score sheets back for both these tests and will talk you through it.
Since it has been so long since I filmed the tests, I can’t remember too much about how they felt etc, but I vaguely remember them not being as good as I had hoped. I filmed an Intro C which I entered into the main class and a Prelim 7 which I entered into the ex racehorse class.
For the Intro I scored 63.7%, which is an okay score for us. Β The scores were mainly 6s and 7s and the comments fairly positive.
Our Collectives were:
Rhythm: 14 (7)
Suppleness: 13 (6.5)
Contact: 13 (6.5)
Rider’s Position: 13 (6.5)
Rider’s Effectiveness: 12 (6)
We scored 63.4% for our Prelim, which is actually a good score for us, especially back in Novemeber. We scored mostly 6.5s and again had fair comments.
Our Collectives were:
Rhythm: 14 (7)
Suppleness: 12 (6)
Contact: 12 (6)
Rider’s Position: 13 (6.5)
Rider’s Effectiveness: 12 (6)
Overall both these tests scored well, it’s Β just a shame it took so long for me to get them into a competition as I don’t think they are a true representation of where we are now.
I still have a small amount of money left on my Dressage Anywhere account so I will be entering at least 1 more test with them. I was also lucky enough to win a free entry with a new (or at least new to me) company called EquiMind. So I will be getting an entry in this month for that too.
