You may have noticed that we look a bit different now. This is because I finally took the plunge and moved away from WordPress.com to a self hosted WordPress.org site. There are several reasons I decided to make the move but they all burn down to the same reason; so I can do more!
Self hosting gives me a lot more freedom about what I want to put on EquiPepper. I can have a wider range of content available, a better experience for you the reader and hopefully with the better tools I will be able to put more into it. I plan on writing a full blog post about the pros and cons of self hosting compared to wordpress.com hosting. So keep your eye out for that if it is something you are interested in.
Now while we have now moved over to this new website, there may still be the odd broken link or missing image, which I am working on going through and checking. But if you see any it would be great if you could let me know! While the move has been fairly straightforward with most of the content moving across by itself, there are over 500 posts and pages on EquiPepper which need triple checking!
