I am super excited to tell you all that I will be attending Olympia Horse Show on Friday the 15th as PRESS! I will be there all day bringing you the highlights of the horses and the fabulous shopping on offer. However, I am particularly excited about the evening performance, labelled as the Race Night.
Race Night starts with the Markel Champions Challenge, where the National Hunt jockeys show jump against the Flat jockeys in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund. Last year the flat jockeys won and AP McCoy has got back in the saddle to help the National Hunt jockeys win this year! I’ve got a second post planned for next week telling you all about the Markel Champions Challenge and the fantastic work the Injured Jockeys Fund does.
Other classes I will be hoping to catch that day will be; the Snowflake Stakes, the Osborne Refrigerators Shetland Pony Grand National, the Keith Prowse Snowman Stakes, the FEI World CupTM Driving Leg presented by Dodson & Horrell and the Longines Christmas Cracker.
When I’m not watching the action in the main arena, I will be making sure I have a good look in all the stalls in the shopping village. Keep an eye on our social media (especially our Instagram) for some of our favourite items for sale or stalls you have to visit. If you see me wandering around, please do come over and say hello!
