While there is only 1 ex racehorse competing at Badminton 4 star this week, the American ex racehorses had huge success at Kentucky 4 star at the weekend! Donner and Captain Jack, who have both competed at Badminton and/or Burghley over the past few years all completed the 3 day event this weekend.
Both Donner and Captain Jack were clear across country within the time and were really exciting to watch! Donner finished 6th overall and Captain Jack 23rd. With Kentucky so close to Badminton, it isn’t surprising to the American ex racehorses competing there rather than Badminton. But it would be great if they made the journey over to Burghley later in the season.
