Todd Pletcher Braces Big Trio For The 2020 Belmont Stakes Online Gambling *Partnered*

Since the Coronavirus outbreak affected many sporting events, this year holds a special horse racing season due to the Triple Crown events switching. The 152nd season of the Belmont Stakes shifts from closing the race to starting the ceremony of the Triple Crown Series. Traditionally, the Kentucky Derby starts the event, succeeded by the Preakness Stakes, and ends with the Belmont Stakes. 

According to the New York Racing Association (NYRA), the Belmont Stakes is locked in on June 20, 2020, at Belmont Park, Elmont, New York. The organization will only name sixteen final racehorses to saddle up in the longest dirt track. It also does not allow any spectators to attend the show, except authorized persons and participants. 

As the event draws near, the horses are preparing to earn a sure spot for the final sixteen Belmont Stakes hopefuls. While some horses are already getting the hype to be part of the show, Todd Pletcher is in good shape to send three entries to compete in the Belmont field. Todd Pletcher’s Profile 

Todd Pletcher is an American racehorse trainer who began his career at the age of seven. He currently holds a seven-time Eclipse Award title as Trainer of the Year in his field of endeavor. Pletcher recorded a total of 4,000+ horse racing titles and placements and is still looking forward to adding more by taking part in the Triple Crown races this year.

According to Equibase, a site dedicated to thoroughbred horses, jockeys, and trainers, Pletcher has accomplished two Kentucky Derby winners, Always Dreaming (2017) and Super Saver (2010). For the Belmont Stakes, he recorded three victories with Tapwrit (2017), Palace Malice (2013), and Rags to Riches (2007). 

Additionally, Todd Pletcher is also a Breeders’ Cup Champ, who accomplished eleven victories. His latest Breeders’ Cup achievement was with Vino Rosso, who managed to win in 2019. This year, as the Triple Crown finally progresses, Pletcher is sending his three entries to the Belmont Stakes to vie for the Triple Crown title this season.

Gouverneur Morris was born on February 1, 2017, and a sire of Constitution. He was one of the horses bred by Carrie and Craig Borden, James F. Miller, and Machmer Hall. WinsStar Farm LLC. & Team Valor International owns Gouverneur Morris, who had been to some notable races since his birth. 

Moreover, he was able to accomplish five horse racing shows, and two of these were titles. That said, he recorded a total of $247,500 racing earnings, allowing Pletcher to handicap him for the Belmont Stakes. He is also one of the horses that has a spot in recent Belmont Stakes champion odds ranking.

Gouverneur Morris started his racing career on September 2, 2019, where he won first place for the Maiden Special Weight. After that, he participated in the Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity and placed second. Just recently, he hustled in the Florida Derby and won fourth place. He also jousted in the Arkansas Derby, where he placed third. 

Farmington Road 

Pletcher’s next entry to the Belmont Stakes is Farmington Road,  bred and owned by Chrysalis Stables and Eclipse Thoroughbred Partner. Born on May 14, 2017, Farmington Road accomplished six horse racing starts, successfully earning $110, 000. 

He started his career by competing in the Maiden Special Weight three times before winning the title in his third attempt. He headed last February 15, 2020, at Fair Grounds to compete for the Risen Star Stakes and placed fourth. He also participated in the Oaklawn Stakes and got second place. His recent award was a fourth-place finish during the Arkansas Derby held last May 2, 2020. 

Dr Post

Dr Post is Todd Pletcher’s final entry for the Belmont Stakes and Triple Crown races. He was born on February 27, 2017, and is a sire of Quality Road. He is bred by Cloyce C. Clark and owned by St. Elias Stable. In his racing form. He was able to finish three racing games with a total earning of $76, 635. 

Furthermore, he started his racing career by running a Maiden Special Weight category last March 9, 2020, and winning the title. However, he is one of the few horses that had one graded stakes racing accomplishment, a championship title he won at Unbridled Stakes last April 25, 2020.
