Fairfax & Favor Rockingham Ankle Boots Review

fairfax & favor rockingham ankle boots

My second Fairfax & Favor item is the limited edition Rockingham Ankle Boot in Khaki. These caught my eye during lockdown when they launched their new khaki range and I love them! While they are no longer available in this colour, they are available in other colours.

Top Quality

The quality of these boots is incredible. Not only do they look gorgeous, but I love the detail of the stitching on the toes. The colour of the suede is just perfect. I’ve worn them out and about a fair few times now and they still look unworn. I used Fairfax & Favor suede protector before wearing them out.

Colour Choices

As with most of their products, the Rockinghams come in a range of colours and a choice of leather or suede. Currently there is tan, chocolate, khaki and leather mahogany. They also come in calf and knee lengths too.

Very Comfortable

With a lot of new boots there can be a few teething issues when you first start wearing them. But these have been very comfy so far. I’ve had the odd toe rub, but nothing what was painful or left a mark. And I have worn them for hours at a time.Β

Dress Up and Dress Down

One of the things I love about Fairfax & Favor boots is how they can dress up or dress down. A casual lunch with friends, these ankle boots are perfect with a pair of jeans. But they are also cute enough to go with a dress. I have a lovely blush pink dress these will look fantastic with for a day at the races.Β

What’s Next?

If you didn’t see my review of the Regina, they were my first Fairfax & Favor purchase. I am now a brand convert! I currently have my eye on a pair of Explorers, perfect for smart occasions where suede might not be the best idea, such as point to points. But I also love the look of the over the knee Amira. I’m just not sure if I will fit into these with them not available in a Sporting Fit.
