Tomorrow marks the start of the 2021 Cheltenham Festival, the jewel in the crown of National Hunt racing. As a treat for you VIP readers, I am sharing my top tips for the week, so hopefully you can pick a winner or two. Last year 50% of my tips finished in the first 5, which in the big fields of Cheltenham often means an each way pay out. So I am hoping for another good year!
I personally won’t put my money on anything with really short odds, even if I think it will win. So for each race I have tried to pick 3 horses; a short odds favourite I expect to win/place, one with slightly better odds what I think will be in the mix and a bit of an outsider I think could make an impact.
