Owners Group Horses

Alongside ex racehorse Scottie, I have started building a portfolio of racehorses through the Owners Group syndicate system. This started in 2019 with the purchase of NH Bumper winner Paris Dixie after seeing Pentland Hills succeed for the syndicate at Cheltenham.

Since then I have bought shares in further racehorses and broodmares. It’s a great experience meeting them and visiting top trainers yard. Plus there’s the chance to be a winning owner at the races! Here you can find details on all my current Owners Group Horses.

In Training

Chez Hans

chez hans

2016 Bay Gelding
Mamool ex Chandos Rose
Trained by Paul Nicholls
Started over hurdles with reasonable results. Hoping to improve with age. He is currently off with an injury, but is improving well and we hope to see him back on course Spring 2023.
Find all his updates here.

Genesius Owners Group

2017 Chestnut Gelding
Teofilo ex Craic Agus Spraoi
Trained by Sir Mark Prescott
He had a successful 1st season with the Owners Group in the top 4 in 7 of his 9 starts, winning 2. Certainly one to watch.
Find all his updates here.

Invincible Love

2022 Chestnut Colt
Territories ex Cupboard Love
Trained by Charlie Johnston.
He hasn’t put a foot wrong so far. Gets on with his work and is doing well in his early training so far.

tambourine girl

Tambourine Girl

2017 Bay Mare
Cable Bay ex Triton Dance
Standing at Furnace Mill Stud
Had a great 2 year old season placing 2nd, 3rd and 1st in her 3 runs. After a very disappointing 3 year old season which included swapping trainers, she was been retired to stud instead.
She has just been covered by Mayson.
Find all her updates here.

2014 Bay Mare
Gold Well ex Howrwedoin
At Stud
She was a really exciting mare to have a share in. But after a minor tendon injury, the decision was made to retire her. Due to her success on the racecourse, the decision was made to send her to stud.

Mayson ex Tambourine Girl

2023 Bay Filly
Mayson ex Tambourine Girl
Currently at Furnace Mill Stud.

Old & Retired Horses

These are all the horses I have had shares in before, but don’t anymore. Some of them have retired from racing and have gone off to be riding horses. Some are still in the racing industry, I just no longer have a share in them.

Cupboard Love

2016 Bay Mare
Iffraaj ex Sri Kandi
Still standing at Kirlinton stud.

I felt like I had to cut back on my horses &  have a share in one of her offspring. I keep an eye on her progress.

Paris Dixie

2015 Bay Mare
Champs Elysees ex Last Of The Dixies
Currently at EquiPrep

After an up and down career, it seemed that Paris Dixie had fallen out of love with racing. So she has been retired with the hope of finding a new home doing something else soon.

2016 Bay Gelding
Dutch Art ex Danseuse De Reve
With Samantha Brown

After a long season of seeming to find it harder and harder to get to the front, the decision was made to retire him while he is sound and happy. He is in retraining to find a new home.
