Welcome to EquiPepper

EquiPepper was born out of Ruby’s love of Thorughbreds and started as a Facebook page documenting Ruby’s progress retraining Highland Rain for an assignment at University. The name was inspired by her Grandfather James Pepper who loved racing and racehorses. As the University project progressed, Ruby started to really enjoy writing and EquiPepper developed into a popular and informative equestrian blog.

When EquiPepper first started Ruby was building an online portfolio with a career in retraining racehorses in mind. However as time went on and she spent more time in the digital world, Ruby started to think that a role in digital marketing was more for her. Five years on EquiPepper in now an award winning blog which strives to educate horse owners and in turn improve the welfare of horses worldwide.
